Spa Monasterii

Located within the resort, Spa Monasterii spans 1,000 square meters and serves as a true sanctuary of wellness. Guests can indulge in a comprehensive range of treatments, including slimming, detox, and anti-aging therapies, professional massages, and yoga classes designed to restore balance to both body and mind.

The recent restyling of Spa Monasterii, curated by architect Ilaria Pianigiani, reflects a refined balance between heritage and contemporary design. The spaces were reimagined to convey a renewed sense of beauty and harmony through subtle details and natural materials—travertine floors, oak wood screens and wall panels, and ancient-weave cotton fabrics adorning armchairs, curtains, rugs, and decorative panels.

Custom-designed seating, including lounge chairs in the spa suite and herbal tea room, were upholstered with fabrics by Le Costantine, a historic foundation in Salento that preserves traditional textile craftsmanship while promoting women’s work and sustainability. Original wrought-iron light fixtures were carefully integrated and reinterpreted with new velvets and colors, in collaboration with Luci di Seta, creating an understated dialogue between material and atmosphere. Gervasoni side tables were redesigned with glass and oak inserts, inspired by traditional latticework, and now function as delicate display elements that enhance the identity of the space.

The spa features elegant treatment rooms and beauty suites, along with two indoor pools—one of which offers detoxifying benefits thanks to high temperatures and a high salt concentration. The wellness experience is further enhanced by a Finnish sauna, a bio-sauna, a Hammam, a Kneipp path, a whirlpool pool, and multisensory experience showers. Outdoors, three open-air pools set amidst lush surroundings invite guests to unwind, while a fully equipped gym allows for uninterrupted fitness routines, even while on holiday.
